Originally from Southern California, I moved out to Boston 5 years ago to attend MIT. After 4 years studying Mechanical Engineering I graduated in 2008 with and SB in Mechanical Engineering and double minors in Management and Economics.
During college I spent summers interning at a DOE lab in WA, a welath managements company in DC, and at A.T. Kearney in Boston. I enjoyed my experience at A.T. Kearney the most, and decided to go into management consulting as my full time career. In my current role as an analyst at Altman Vilandrie & Co (altvil.com), I primarily do strategy work in the telecommunications and media sector.
When I’m not working I love to play sports. I was a 4 year starter (3 year captain) on the varsity volleyball team at MIT, and in high school I played both varsity soccer and volleyball. Now that I have graduated, I am getting involved with Yankee volleyball, bouncing around for whatever team needs players. This past season I also helped out as a volunteer assistant coach with the MIT men’s voleyball team.
In my free time I enjoy snowboarding and whitewater kayaking. Over the past couple of years I haven’t done either one of those very much because of college sports, but now that I sometimes have free weekends I am trying to get outside of Boston a bit more.
